Development & Restoration of the Mansion House
In the Summer of 2008 the discovery of dry rot in the roof resulted in the replacement of two huge wooden beams with steel girders.
During 2007 the majority of the sandstone masonry to the front of the building was replaced or restored.
The Great Space was restored in the Summer of 2003. Repairing the pillars alone cost £10,000.
Also in 2003 the Kitchens were re-equipped and the Dining Room substantially refurbished.
