Staff and children eat together in the school’s Dining Room, where an eye can be kept on table manners! It is a time when staff and pupils chat informally and catch up on news.

The School has a professional catering firm who prepare fresh food on site each day. Primarily organic meat, much of which is reared on our own farmland, is provided and a vegetarian option is always available.

In 2004 the kitchens were completely refurbished and we have since introduced a healthy eating programme, which has proved very popular. This has lead to our food being featured in Country Life and the School being awarded both gold Healthy Eating Awards and gold Hygiene Award from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council in November 2009.

Medley of cauliflower, carrots and green beans

Supper

Chilli con carne
Savoury rice
Nachos and sour cream
