This magnificent 19th Century Jacobean style mansion provides a stunning backdrop for weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, training courses and private social functions.
The house is approached via a sweeping drive lined with mature trees. Oak panelling lines the reception rooms with polished oak parquet flooring. The 50ft ballroom - known fondly by the children as ‘The Great Space' - has an elaborately decorated ceiling and sprung floor.
The tranquil location and the friendly atmosphere make it the perfect location for your event. The grounds and parkland provide ample space for country pursuits, concerts and corporate days.
Weddings & Events
Saint Ronan’s offers various wedding packages from fine dining to more informal dining. Alternatively, we can specifically tailor a package to meet your individual needs. An event manager is allocated to your wedding to guide you through your day from initial idea to final concept, whether it is a small, intimate occasion or a large family gathering.
It is important to Saint Ronan’s to meet your individual expectations and make sure that the high quality of service and food will ensure a memorable day.
Civil Ceremony
Saint Ronan’s has two rooms licensed for Civil Ceremonies: The Library and The Great Space.
We can offer assistance and advice in all aspects of planning your civil ceremony, from the initial contact with the local registrars to the booking of live music and flowers.

The Reception
The stunning Great Space provides an unbeatable venue for your reception. Up to 170 guests can be seated for a wedding breakfast which includes space for a dance floor. The venue hire rate includes exclusive use of the house and the allocated areas.
During the drinks reception, the newly married couple can take full advantage of the beautiful grounds for unlimited photographic opportunities.
Concerts & Music Recitals
The Great Space is also ideal for a variety of concerts. The room seats up to 250 guests and is suitable for orchestral works, chamber music and solo piano recitals.
Sports Facilities
Saint Ronans School opened its new sports centre in June 2010.
The Sports Hall itself is the size of four badminton courts and allows for the playing of a range of sports such as indoor tennis, netball, hockey, basketball, volleyball, fencing and cricket nets.
