Boarding

Boarding is part of the distinctive character of Saint Ronan’s and over half the Prep school will board at some time. It is a hugely popular, family event - with children enjoying the unique spirit of community that staying overnight engenders. They learn more about themselves, their friends, and the staff and, of course the wonderful surroundings.

Pupils can board on a weekly basis (Monday to Friday) or on a ‘flexi’ basis. This means that parents can select one or more nights for their child to board. Parents can also request a ‘one off’ arrangement if they have to be away.

All the dormitories are located at the top of the school. Each has its own unique name and character – these include Crystal Palace and Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Crow’s Nest and the Rookery.
