Drama is an important activity at Saint Ronan’s and it contributes to the personal development of the pupils, as well as enriching their approach to other subjects. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 have weekly Drama lessons, and there are a number of opportunities during the year for children of all ages to become involved in performances, be it on the stage or as part of the ‘crew’.

We have split the productions into a Senior ‘musical’ and a Junior Shakespeare this year. The children in Midway, Upper and Remove performed Into the Woods at the end of the Spring term with great success. The Junior production involving years 3 through to Shell will be producing and performing a site-specific re-working of Shakespeare’s Macbeth on the fire escape during Founders Day (weather permitting).
