Life before Saint Ronan's
After working as a photographic development manager for many years, I fulfilled my ambition to return to University to take an Arts Degree. My spare time was filled with art-related work including ceramics, jewellery-making and glass work. Even though photography was an aspect of art, I felt I was not using my skills to my best ability. I was then offered a role at Saint Ronan's, which I literally jumped at and have never looked back.

Roles at School
Apart from the paperwork and monitoring of the department behind the scenes, I am at my happiest teaching the children new skills. I also teach Extra Art and Masterclasses for pupils, as well as running a Scholarship Art group.

Away from the Classroom
I am fortunate enough to have a studio at home, which allows me to experiment with my artwork. I am a senior instructor for Art Clay Silver. I enjoy cooking, especially when I have a new cooking gadget to test - please feel free to ask me about my extensive collection, my favourite of which is an electric potato masher! Although not a fitness addict by any means, I do love to cycle at Bedgebury Pinetum with my husband and daughters.
