Find out more below

Day 1 On a wet and freezing cold day 6 members of the equestrian team made their way to the Grassroots SJ qualifier at Duckhurt. First to ride in the x-poles were newest members Izzy A and India P. Both had double clears in the x-poles and in the 40 cms Izzy got 6th place qualifying for the Grassroots Final and India a fabulous double clear.

Next up were the 60 cm team. Chloe L on new pony Seren, Jack F on Jodie, Erin C on Dolly and Emily on new pony Speckles. The team were placed and Emily H had a superb round being placed 1st and both qualifying for the Grassroots Regional finals in November. The same team minus Chloe (who had to jet off on holiday ) gave 3 super rounds in the 70cms ending up 2nd as a team with Emily 1st place and Erin 5th again qualifying for Grassroots Regional Finals.

Day 2 (a much sunnier affair )– this year Hope R moved up to the Kent qualifiers on her new pony Woody. She managed 2 wonderful double clears and ended up with second place just narrowly missing out on qualifying for the County Championships.

The rest of the year looks promising for the Saint Ronan’s Equestrian Team with some strong riders and ponies. Huge thanks to all the mums who made the effort over the half term.
